FDA Engineering & Physics Laboratory

The FDA Engineering & Physics Laboratory is part of the new research laboratory campus for the Food and Drug Administration at White Oak in Silver Spring, MD. The campus is located at the former site of the U.S. Navy's Federal Research Center – Naval Ordinance Laboratory in White Oak, MD. This contract was for the construction of Phase 3 - Center for Devices and Radiological Health laboratory facility. This 24-month contract included the following: site work, excavation, structural, shell and core construction, interior partitions, acoustical ceilings, interior glazing, carpeting, wall coverings and finishes, and millwork.
